| Abstract |
Purpose: To compare postoperative recurrence rates between conjunctival autograft transplantation alone and conjunctival
autograft transplantation with amniotic membrane transplantation in primary pterygium surgery.
Methods: The authors conducted a retrospective analysis of 66 eyes from 62 patients who underwent primary pterygium
surgery from January 2001 to May 2009. Twenty three eyes underwent conjunctival autograft transplantation alone, 43
eyes underwent conjunctival autograft transplantation with amniotic membrane transplantation.
Results: Recurrence of pterygium was observed in 5 of 23 eyes that received conjunctival autograft transplantation alone.
There were 2 cases of recurrence of 43 eyes that received conjunctival autograft transplantation and amniotic membrane
transplantation. No major complications such as necrotizing scleritis, sclera ulcer, or corneal perforation were observed in
either group after surgery.
Conclusions: The present study showed that receiving both conjunctival autograft transplantation and amniotic membrane
transplantation in pterygium surgery has a lower recurrence rate than conjunctival autograft transplantation alone.

목적: 원발성 군날개 수술 시 군날개 제거 및 자가결막이식술만을 시행한 경우와 양막이식술을 같이 시행한 경우의 재발률을 비교해
보고자 하였다.
대상과 방법: 2001년 1월부터 2009년 5월까지 본원에서 원발성 군날개로 군날개제거술과 자가결막이식술을 시행받은 23안의 환자,
군날개제거술과 자가결막이식술과 양막이식술을 시행받은 43안의 환자(총 62명 66안)를 대상으로, 후향적 연구를 시행하였다.
결과: 자가결막이식술을 이용한 군날개제거술을 시행받은 환자군은 23안 중 5안에서 재발하였으며(21.7%), 자가결막이식술과 양막이
식술을 동시에 시행받은 환자군은 43안 중 2안이 재발하여(4.6%) 두 군간에 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p＜0.05). 연구 대상
자중 수술 후에 괴사성 공막염, 공막궤양, 공막연화증, 각막천공 등의 합병증은 두 군 모두에서 발생하지 않았다.
결론: 원발성 군날개 수술 시 양막이식술을 동반한 자가결막이식술을 시행하는 것이 자가결막이식술만 시행한 것에 비해 군날개 수술
후 재발을 줄일 수 있는 수술 방법이라 사료된다.
