황반모세혈관 확장증 2형에서 망막혈관안구단층촬영기를 통한 망막 미세 혈관변화 분석

목적 : To evaluate the retinal vascular changes through optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) and their correlation with visual acuity in patients with macular telangiectasia type 2 (MacTel 2).
방법 : Our study included 26 patients (52 eyes) with MacTel 2, and age-matched matched 20 subjects (40 eyes) in the control group. Fundus color photographs, fundus autofluorescence, spectral-domain optical coherence tomography and OCTA were performed. Foveal vascular density and parafoveal vascular density, and the area of foveal avascular zone (FAZ) and the length of ellipsoid zone (EZ) defect were compared between MacTel 2 patients and normal controls.
결과 : The foveal vascular density of the superficial capillary plexus was significantly lower in patients with MacTel 2 than that of the control group (p = 0.027). And the retinal whole vascular density in the deep plexus were significantly lower in patients with MacTel 2 than those of the control group (all p< 0.05). And the FAZ area of the superficial and deep plexus were significantly enlarged in patients with MacTel 2 than that of the control group (0.45 ± 0.12 mm2 vs 0.27 ± 0.08 mm2, p < 0.001; 0.56 ± 0.15 mm2 vs 0.40
결론 : Our study demonstrated that important retinal vascular density in MacTel 2 occur in the superficial fovea and deep capillary plexus of the retina. And enlarged FAZ area of superficial plexus is found in Mactel 2 and correlates with worse visual prognosis.
