목적 : To evaluate the clinical features and surgical outcomes for pseudophakic retinal detachment(RD) in patients with multifocal intraocular lens(mfIOL) 방법 : The medical records of patients with pseudophakia after phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation who had undergone surgery for primary rhegmatogenous RD with a minimum duration of follow-up of 6 months were reviewed retrospectively. 20 eyes with mfIOL and 35 eyes with monofocal intraocular lens(IOL) were analyzed. 결과 : Younger age (p=0.017), long axial length (p=0.015), shorter time interval to RD from cataract surgery (p=0.001), less extended detachment (p=0.02) was shown in eyes with mfIOL. The final visual acuities were significantly improved in both mfIOL and monofocal IOL eyes. There was no statistically significant difference between the single surgery anatomic success rate (p=0.991), final visual acuity (p=0.204), and postoperative complication rate (p=0.483). The poor baseline visual acuity, long axial length and more extended detachments was significantly associated with worse final visual acuity. 결론 : As rhegmatogenous RDs in mf IOL implanted eyes mostly occurred within a year after cataract surgery, careful fundus exam at early postoperative period following mfIOL implantation may be important for early diagnosis of RD and proper surgical treatment will be needed for good visual outcomes. |
