목적 : To compare choroidal vascular characteristics of central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC), polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV), and age-related macular degeneration (AMD) by quantitative analyses using ultra-widefield indocyanine green (UWF ICGA) images.
방법 : Eyes with CSC (n=56), PCV (n=55), and neovascular AMD (n=61) were enrolled. Seventeen normal eyes were enrolled as controls. Subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT) was measured. On UWF ICGA, choroidal vascular density (CVD) were assessed using binarization in total area, posterior pole and vortex ampullae.
결과 : The mean CVDs of CSC, PCV, and AMD were 39.0%, 37.3%, and 37.0% in total area, 39.0%, 38.6%, and 37.3% at posterior pole (P < 0.05). The ampullae CVDs of CSC, PCV, and AMD were 38.2%, 41.8%, and 37.5% in the superotemporal quadrant (P < 0.05), 38.0%, 38.0%, and 37.0% (P > 0.05) in the superonasal quadrant, 38.0%, 37.0%, and 36.5% in the inferotemporal quadrant (P< 0.05), and 39.1%, 37.8%, and 37.0% in the inferonasal quadrant (P<0.05).
결론 : CVD of total retinal area, as well as the posterior polar area, differed between CSC, PCV, and AMD. CVD of ampullae at each quadrant also differed between groups, suggesting difference in pathophysiology involving choroidal changes in these eyes.
