목적 : To investigate the efficacy of intravitreal bevacizumab injections (IVBs) in vitreous hemorrhage (VH) in proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) with prior standard panretinal photocoagulation(PRP). 방법 : Retrospective review of patients who visited SNU-SMG Boramae Medical Center and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital between June 2006 and June 2019 with a new VH in eyes with PDR with previous standard PRP was done. Main outcome measure was the cumulative rates of spontaneous clear-up and vitrectomy. Wilcoxon statistic was used for comparison. 결과 : 44 eyes with IVB treatment and 92 control eyes without IVB were included. Mean age was younger in the IVB group than the control (53.0 vs 59.2 years, p<.001). Follow-up duration were 18.1 (IVB group) and 21.1 months (control, p=.486). Additive PRP was done in the 22 eyes (50%, IVB group) and 38 eyes (41.3%, control, p=.339). Cumulative probability for spontaneous clear-up at 12 months was 0.73 (IVB group) and 0.65 (control), higher in the IVB group (p=.026). Cumulative probability for vitrectomy at 12 months was 0.16 (IVB group) and 0.42 (control), lower in the IVB group(p=.003) 결론 : This study shows that IVB treatment can induce spontaneous clear-up of VH and defer vitrectomy in PDR patients with prior standard PRP. IVB treatment can be considered as a potential treatment option as well as additive PRP. |
