회절형EDoF인공수정체와 회절형삼중초점인공수정체를 조합삽입후 6개월기간의 임상적 추적평가

목적 : To compare visual acuity and optical functions in patients who have undergone cataract surgery where an alternative “mix- and-match” technique has been applied using a diffractive trifocal IOL (AT LISA tri 839MP, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Germany) in the near-dominant eye and a novel EDoF IOL (AT LARA 829MP, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Germany LARA) in the distant-dominant eye.
방법 : This retrospective study enrolled 102eyes of 51 patients aged between 46 and 70 years (median age = 58.78 years) implanted with AT LARA 829MP in the dominant eye and AT LISA tri 839MP in the non-dominant eye. Patients underwent cataract surgery in their non-dominant eye initially, followed by their dominant eye two days later Post-operatively uncorrected near (40cm), intermediate (80cm), and distant vision were assessed at 1, 3 and 6 months. Monocular and binocular defocus curve, refractive outcome and contrast sensitivity under mesopic conditions were additionally evaluated.
결과 : Preoperatively, the mean spherical equivalent refraction was -0.90 ±4.55 (D). At 3 months uncorrected binocular vision for distance was 0.88 ± 0.16D, for intermediate 0.91 ±0.17D, and for near 0.65± 0.17D. Binocular defocus curve shows broad extended depth of focus with visual acuity higher than 0.2 LogMAR over a range of 3.5D.
결론 : The visual outcomes of participants indicate good results at near, intermediate and long distances. Participants were able to achieve faster neural adaptation with the new IOL combinations. The results show reduced perception of side effects such as halo and glare and a smooth binocular defocus curve.
