목적 : To evaluate the long-term clinical outcome of Flexivue Microlens Corneal inlay implantation for the treatment of presbyopia
방법 : At the patients who had underwent Flexivue Microlens inlay implantation in previous study(TY Chung, 2019), long-term clinical outcome data were collected. In previous study, the patients were recruited from Jun 2015 to Feb 2018. Corrected distant visual acuity (CDVA), UDVA, UNVA, uncorrected intermediate visual acuity (UIVA), manifest refraction, contrast sensitivity, corneal keratometry, and defocus curve test were done pre- and post-operatively.
결과 : 8 patients completed the long-term examination. Mean follow-up period was 1.72 years (range 1.01 – 2.61). Bilateral UDVA at last examination was not significantly different from preoperative value. Bilateral UNVA was 0.21±0.14, significantly improved from preoperative value (0.35±0.09). UDVA and BDVA in operated eye were improved compared to 6 months but not statistically significant. Refractive cylinder power was increased at last follow-up (-0.59±0.51) compared to preoperative value (-0.13±0.27) but not statistically significant (p = 0.07).
결론 : Long-term outcome of Flexivue Microlens inlay implantation showed the efficacy for improving near visual acuity and the safety of the procedure. But tendency of increasing refractive cylinder power was raising the necessity of longer close observation.
