본문 : we report an rare case of acquired nasolacrimal duct obstruction caused by metastasis from the phyllodes tumor of breast. A 41-year-old women presented to our ophthalmology department complaining of epiphora, bloody tears and swelling of left eyelid. Ophthalmologic examination revealed a left nasolacrimal duct obstruction caused by a mass in the nasolacrimal fossa pressing the lacrimal drainage system. The mass was excised and confirmed as a mass derived from phyllodes tumor of breast. Palliative radiotherapy was recommended to the patient after surgery with careful explanation of complication, patient decided not to receive further treatment. |
