| 본문 : Purpose : To report a case of age-related macular degeneration(AMD) associated peripapillary choroidal neovascularization(PPCNV)
Case summary : A 68-year-old male patient exhibited PPCNV associated with AMD in the left eye. Intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(anti-VEGF; ranibizumab) injection resolved PPCNV and subfoveal fluid within 1 month, and showed visual improvement.
Conclusions : AMD associated PPCNV is a rare condition and intravitreal anti-VEGF injection could be a treatment option. |
