식이 섭취와 개방각 녹내장과의 관계: 국민건강영양조사 2010-2011

목적 : To investigate the association between diet intake and open angle glaucoma(OAG) in Korean. 방법 : A population-based, cross-sectional survey was performed from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey between 2010-2011 and subjects who answered nutritional survey and underwent ophthalmic evaluation(n=6,742) enrolled. Multivariate regression analysis was used to assess the correlation between diet intake and the prevalence of OAG in all enrolled subjects. 결과 : The prevalence of OAG among study participants was 4.79%. There was a significant difference in intake of protein and fat between OAG and non-glaucoma group. Subjects with OAG had significantly lower intake of protein and fat.(p value =0.003 and 0.044). In multiple linear regression models, in normal BMI group of females, OAG group had lower intake of food, energy, protein and fat. Intake of phosphorus, potassium, thiamin, niacin, vitamin C were also lower in OAG group. (all p < 0.05). In normal BMI group in males, also subjects with OAG showed lower intake of protein. 결론 : Diet intake seems to have association of prevalence of glaucoma and lower intake of fat and protein have risk of OAG. These results suggest that modification of diet may have association of OAG and further study is needed.
