본문 : Purpose: To report a rare case of a combination of Oguchi’s disease and sectoral retinitis pigmentosa.
Case summary: A 75-year-old male patient presented with a high intraocular pressure and night blindness. Ocular funduscopy showed chorioretinal atrophy with bone-spicule-like pigmentation along the inferotemporal arcade and automated visual field exam showed arcuate scotoma at corresponding area. Wide fundus photograph divulged golden gray discoloration of the retina vascular arcades and this discoloration turned to a normal retina after prolonged dark adaptation which is a characteristic finding of Oguchi’s disease(Mizuo-Nakamura phenomenon).
Conclusion: This case report shows Oguchi’s disease can be presented with different progressive retinal disease such as retinitis pigmentosa.
