목적 : To investigate prognostic factors for restrictive myopathy in thyroid eye disease (TED)
방법 : The records of 65 TED patients with diplopia within 20 degree were reviewed. They were divided into 2 groups: improved and not-improved based on EOM excursion after treatment. Demographics, clinical features, and CT scans were analyzed.
결과 : Muscle excursion of 32 patients improved, 33 patients did not through 12 months of treatment. Pre-treatment thyroid stimulating antibody (TSAb) was significantly lower in the improved group (P=0.02). Subjective diplopia was also significantly improved in the improved group (P=0.01). Age, gender, smoking, duration of disease, CAS, thyroid status, and muscle thickness in CT scan were not significantly different (P>0.05).
결론 : High titer of TSAb was associated with poor predicting factor in restrictive myopathy of TED
