안구건조증에서 감초유래 플라본 유도 물질의 항-염증효과

목적 : Extracts from Glycyrrhiza uralensis have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects. However, it has never been used in ophthalmic inflammatory diseases, as well as dry eye disease. We studied the effects of flvones derived material (FDM) isolated from Glycyrrhiza uralensis in in vivo and vitro dry eye disease model. 방법 : The anti-inflammatory effect of FDM was evaluated by mRNA expression at conjunctival epithelial cells in hyperosmotic environment. Dry eye disease was induced in mice by controlled environmental chamber and injected intraperitoneally scopolamine. Corneal, conjunctival and mRNA level change were evaluated in murine dry eye model. 결과 : mRNA levels of IL-1β and IL-6 were down-regulated by FDM in conjunctival epithelial cells and murine dry eye model. FDM was increased goblet cells in conjunctiva at murine dry eye model. 결론 : FDM has suppressive properties for inflammatory and goblet cells and may be utilized as a potent agent for the treatment of dry eye disease.
