| 본문 : Purpose: To introduce cases of the use, as patch grafts, of stromal lenticules obtained by small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) surgery.
Observations: We treated 2 Ahmed-valve-tube-exposure patients using stromal lenticules. An additional patient with bullous keratopathy requiring routine exchange of a therapeutic contact lens was treated using a stromal lenticule and conjunctival advancement flap.
Conclusions & Importance: It is suggested that the stromal lenticule, with its biocompatibility, sufficient strength, ease of handling and low cost, is a useful patch graft for various therapeutic purposes in the ophthalmic field.
