| 본문 : Purpose: To describe a case of ocular coloboma combined with cleft lip/palate without other neurologic abnormalities.
Case Report: A 5-year-old Asian boy presented with decreased visual acuity in his right eye. Anterior segment examination of the right eye revealed iris coloboma in the inferior quadrant. Funduscopic examination revealed large inferonasal optic nerve and chorioretinal coloboma in the same eye. Physical examination showed cleft lip/palate which was surgically corrected at the age of 9 months.
Conclusions: This case suggests that the possibility of ocular coloboma should be kept in mind when encountering a patient with cleft lip/palate without other neurologic or systemic abnormalities.
