| Selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) in complicated glaucoma cases. |

Purpose : To demonstrate the outcome of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) in complicated glaucoma cases.
Methods : This is a retrospective case series of 3 cases where SLT was used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in complicated glaucoma cases. The first 2 cases were steroid induced glaucoma following vitrectomy and DALK whereas the third case was advanced Juvenile Onset Open Angle Glaucoma (JOAG).
Results : The patient with steroid induce glaucoma following DALK responded well after repeated SLT and IOP was controlled with topical anti-glaucoma. However, the second patient who had vitrectomy developed IOP spikes after SLT and required glaucoma surgery to control the IOP. Patient with advanced JOAG responded to repeated SLT and IOP was controlled with topical glaucoma.
Conclusion : The use of SLT in complicated glaucoma cases apart from POAG and OHT was seldom described with limited literature published. The use of SLT in steroid induced glaucoma and JOAG was demonstrated in this cases series with variable success rate.
