목적 : To explore correlation between ophthalmologic factors and obstetrical factors in pregnant women with pre-eclampsia
방법 : In this retrospective study, 34 pregnant patients diagnosed with pre-eclampsia were recruited during hospital stay. The patients were divided into two groups according to extent of proteinuria and existence of serous retinal detachment. The author compared choroidal thickness, foveal avascular zone, vascular density of two groups. The author also evaluated the association of choroidal thickness and serologic and urinary test results. Factors associated with serous retinal detachment were also investigated.
결과 : Subfoveal choroidal thickness of both eyes (right, p<0.001; left, p=0.018), temporal choroidal thickness of right eye (p<0.001), vascular density of density map of both eyes (right, p<0.001; left, p=0.005) were related to high micro total protein to creatinine ratio (≥2.0). Micro total protein to creatinine ratio (p<0.001) was the only factor linearly correlated with choroidal thickness. Thick choroidal thickness (p<0.01) and high micro total protein to creatinine ratio were related to groups with serous retinal detachment.
결론 : In pregnant women with preeclampsia, micro total protein to creatinine ration is a novel factor to indicated the state of choroid and retina and to predict the possibility of choroidal and retinal complications. Choroidal thickness and vascular density using ocular coherence tomography angiography can be a useful tool to reflect ocular microvasculature state noninvasively.
