| 본문 : The pupil can be dilated by anticholinergic or sympathomimetric medication. However, the bilateral mydriasis caused by systemic anticholinergic medication is rarely reported. We report a 19-year-old female with depressive disorder who developed bilateral mydriasis caused by anticholinergic medication, Benztropine. The anticholinergic medication is generally used in patients to reduce extrapyramidal side-effects of antipsychotic treatment. The clinician needs to be aware of the development of bilateral mydriasis caused by anticholinergic medication in patents with antipsychotic treatment. |
