목적 :
To evaluate the properties and clinical outcomes after implantation the Softec HD(™) in patients undergoing routine cataract surgery
방법 :
The study included 48 patients ( 67 eyes), mean age 71±7 years (range 59-98 years) with senile cataract. After phacoemulsification intraocular lens Softec HD(™) was implanted. Patients were evaluated at 2 months after surgery. We assessed uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA), best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), refraction, and the incidence of posterior capsule opacification (PCO--Posterior capsule opacification).
결과 : Before surgery the mean UCVA was 0.34±0.18 and 2 months after surgery was 0.7±0.25. The mean BCVA before surgery was 0.48±0.19 and after surgery was 0.93±0.11.
결론 : The aspheric, hydrophilic acrylic intraocular lens Softec HD(™) could be easily implanted and after surgery shows a high degree of biocompatibility in patients undergoing routine cataract surgery.
