| 본문 : We report a interesting case of a 54-year-old male who presented with a smooth, flesh-coloured mass in his right upper eyelid. Microscopic examination revealed a well-circumscribed, multinodular lesion beneath the marginal epithelium. Our mass likely arose from a meibomian gland unit near the eyelid margin. The excisional biopsy for diagnosis was performed. It was composed of multiple, closely packed, circumscribed sebaceous lobules, suggesting normal mebomian gland. We report this case because there are no papers reported so far on ectopic meibomian gland. Ectopic meibomian gland should be considered as a differential diagnosis for eyelid tumors.
