목적 : To investigate the characteristics of peripapillary vascular density at various spatial locations and layers in healthy and glaucomatous eyes using commercially available optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). 방법 : AngioPlex OCTA was used for imaging microvasculature in 6x6mm optic disc region. Vascular density of superficial and deep retinal layers was calculated by MATLAB software. Vascular density map was plotted by averaging angiogram images. Spatial characteristics of vascular density were analyzed at clock hour sectors and 5 concentric circular regions from 2.0 to 5.5mm diameter with 0.7mm interval. AUCs were calculated for evaluating the glaucoma diagnostic capability. Multivariate regression analysis was performed to determine clinical factors associated with vascular density in glaucoma subjects 결과 : In superficial layer, vascular density significantly decreased according to the increased distance from the optic disc margin except innermost circle (2.0 to 2.7-mm diameter). Superficial vascular density of innermost circle showed significant correlation with the optic disc size. There were significant differences of AUCs of superficial vascular density between innermost circle and other outer circles. In deep layer, innermost circle showed significantly higher vascular density compared to outer circles. Average deep vascular density was not significantly different among outer circles. 결론 : The vascular density maps showed at a glance the spatial characteristics of peripapillary vessel distribution in healthy and glaucomatous eyes. Our result offered clues for optimal area for measurement of peripapillary vascular density.
