| 약물로 치료하기 어려운 거짓비늘녹내장에 대한 선택적레이저섬유주성형술의 임상 결과 |

목적 : To evaluate the efficacy and safety of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) in patients with pseudoexfoliation glaucoma (PXFG) refractory to medical therapy.
방법 : Twenty-four eyes of 24 patients with medically uncontrolled PXFG were treated with SLT. Intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured before SLT and 1 day, 1week, 1month, 3 and 6 months after SLT. Treatment success was defined as IOP reduction ≥ 20% without additional medications, laser or glaucoma surgery.
결과 : The mean IOP was 27.4 mmHg and the mean number of anti-glaucoma drug was 2.8 preoperatively. There was significant IOP decrease at postoperative 1 day (16.1 mmHg), 1 week (16.2 mmHg), 1 month (16.5 mmHg), 3 months (16.4 mmHg), and 6 months (17.4 mmHg) (all P < 0.05). No significant change was observed in the mean number of anti-glaucoma drug (2.7; P > 0.05). The cumulative probability of success at 6 months after SLT was 75%. Overall follow up period, there were no serious adverse events.
결론 : SLT seems to be a safe and effective procedure to lower IOP in patients with PXFG refractory to medical therapy.
