목적 : To analyze the clinical outcomes after the modified mini-flap technique using fibrin glue in pterygium surgery
방법 : This is a retrospective, clinical outcome study of 148 eyes that received the modified mini-flap technique using fibrin glue in pterygium surgery from January, 2014 to August, 2015. We analyzed the recurrence rate. We compared the recurrent group with non-recurrent group and evaluated the factors which affect recurrence.
결과 : The corneal recurrence rate of pterygium patients who received the modified mini-flap technique using fibrin glue was 6.8%(conjunctival recurrence 10.8%). When we comparing recurrence group with non-recurrence group, younger age, severity and bilaterality had significant difference in corneal recurrence (p=0.026, 0.008, 0.002). The same factors had significant diffecence in keratoconjunctival recurrence (p=0.012, 0.012, 0.048).
결론 : The modified mini-flap technique using fibrin glue is not only conventional method but also reliable surgical technique with low recurrence rate.
