목적 : To investigate the changes of optical coherence tomography (OCT) color codes after applying adjusted color codes in myopic eyes with glaucoma.
방법 : Normative database of peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness and macular ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer (GCIPL) thickness were obtained based on 154 myopic healthy eyes. Then, adjusted color codes were established on the basis of z-score. Changes of color codes after applying adjusted color codes were analyzed in 151 myopic glaucoma eyes.
결과 : The discrepancy between adjusted and original color codes were 29.84%, 23.62% and 34.44% in main RNFL thickness, clock hour RNFL thickness and macular GCIPL thickness, respectively. Nasal part of main RNFL thickness, 3 clock hour part of RNFL thickness and inferotemporal part of GCIPL thickness showed the lowest frequency of changed color codes. Mild myopic, moderate myopic and severe myopic group showed change in 26.75%, 22.92% and 35.14% of eyes, respectively. Proportion of changed color codes of GCIPL thickness and RNFL thickness was not statistically different (P = 0.234).
결론 : About 30.0% of eyes showed discrepancy between adjusted OCT color codes and original OCT color codes in myopic eyes with glaucoma.
