| 본문 : Purpose: To investigate efficacy and safety of scleral contact lens and apheric contact lens in patients with keratoconus or keratectasia.
Method: 6 eyes of 4 patients were evaluated. Regular visual acuity and corneal topography were measured at every 6 month.
Result: Visual acuity were above 20/25 in all patients and comfortable contact feeling was noted in all case.
No serious complication was noted until 18 month.
Conclusion: Safe use of special customized contact lens is predicted on the emphasis of clear patient direction on how to wear and take care of the lens followed by regular examination by eye care specialist.
