본문 : Purpose: To report the efficacy of toric orthokeratology lens in patients with corneal astigmatism within 1.5 D but having difficulty in wearing spherical orthokeratology lens because of limbus to limbus corneal astigmatism. Methods: Fifteen patients with myopic astigmatism (total and corneal astigmatism <1.5D) in refraction and limbus to limbus corneal astigmatism in topography had diplolpia and displacement of lens after wearing spherical orthokeratology lens. Results: Toric orthokeratology lens was prescribed and showed significant improvement of uncorrected visual acuity, refractive error and centration of lens over 6 months follow-up period. Conclusion: Toric orthokeratology lens should be considered if spherical orthokeratology lens is not effective in patients with having less than 1.5D of corneal astigmatism but having limbus to limbus corneal astigmatism.
