목적 : to establish a set of normative data for videonystagmography(VNG) obtained from healthy korean young adults 방법 : Twenty five healthy subjects, 9 men and 16 women, were examined. Their age varied from 21 to 38 years, mean 29 years. The subjects had to meet the following criteria: no history of vertigo, balance problems, otologic or neurologic diseases or medications. 결과 : At sitting position, moving eyes horizontally upto 15 and 30 degrees left or right following a target light, the mean peak velocity, latency and accuracy of eye movement were calculated. For correction, one physician deletes extremely high or low data from row results. The corrected results of latency and accuracy at 30 degrees horizontal movement only significantly differ from pre-corrected results. 결론 : The VNG is a modern and sensitive method to record eye movements, but there has been no study to obtain nomotive data for healthy adults in korea. In this study we obtained mean peak velocity, latency and accuracy values from twenty five healthy subjects. The manual correction had impact only on the outcome of latency and accuracy at horizontal 30°
