| 내사시 수술후 발생한 속발외사시에 관한 임상적 고찰 |

목적 : To evaluate the risk factors in development of postoperative exotropia following bimedial rectus recession for esotropia.
방법 : 108 patients who underwent bimedial rectus recession for esotropia between November 1996 and July 2010 were enrolled. 54 patients those who had surgery for exotropia composed the consecutive exotropia group and age matched 54 patients composed the control group. Medical records of the patients were reviewed retrospectively.
결과 : Amblyopia was found in 27 patients (50.5%) in exotropia group and 7 patients (13.0%) in control group (P<0.0001). Dissociated vertical deviation (DVD) was significantly detected in 16 (29.06) and 5 (9.3%) patients in the exotropia group and nonexotropia controls, respectively (P=0.007). With multivariate logistic regression analysis, the odds ratios of DVD and amblyopia were 4.449(95% CI: 1.30-15.22) and 6.586(95% CI: 2.42-17.89), respectively (p=0.017, p<0.001). Using linear mixed model analysis, exotropic shift across time was higher in the consecutive XT group. (P=0.033)
결론 : The presence of preoperative amblyopia and DVD were correlated with risk of consecutive XT.
