목적 : To assess the incidence and clinical characteristics of timolol and dorzolamide combination treatment (TDCT) low-responder group (LG) in Korean open-angle glaucoma (OAG) patients. 방법 : 41 eyes of 41 naïve OAG patients who had received only TDCT for more than 4 weeks were included. LG includes a subject shows less than 15% intraocular pressure (IOP) reduction from baseline. Clinical profiles of the subjects were analyzed with whether LG or not using Spearman’s rank test. 결과 : The mean age was 55.17 ± 13.34 and mean baseline IOP was 19.22 ± 3.28. The incidence of LG was 37% and the overall IOP reduction rate (RR) was 18.69 ± 18.52%. However, RRs of responder group and LG were 30.44 ± 9.25% and -1.68 ± 11.23%, respectively. Male, low best corrected visual acuity, systemic hypertension history and high body mass index were correlated to LG 결론 : Even though considerable subjects were classified as LG, RR was competent thinking their lower baseline IOP. This study also implies that the incidence of LG in Korean patients including normal tension glaucoma is higher than that of Caucasian patients.
