목적 : To determine the relationship of the corneal biomechanical properties, central corneal thickness (CCT) with the central lamina cribrosa thickness (LCT) in normal tension glaucoma
방법 : The optic discs were scanned using enhanced-depth imaging spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (Spectralis OCT, Heidelberg Engineering, Heidelberg, Germany) and corneal biomechanical properties(corneal hysteresis;CH, corneal resistance factor;CRF) were measured by using an Ocular response analyzer in 36 eyes of normal subjects and 38 eyes from 38 NTG patients. The thickness of the lamina cribrosa(LC) was measured on B-scan images obtained at the center of the optic nerve head.
결과 : The thickness of the central LCT was 200.56±26.68μm in NTG patients and 193.84±29.01 μm. There was no statistically significant difference between two groups(P=0.303). Multivariate analysis revealed a no significant association between central LCT and either CH or CRF in both normal subjects and NTG group.
결론 : In this study, Neither CH, CRF nor CCT were significantly associated with the central LCT in normal and NTG patients.
