목적 : AIM: To examine the accuracy of intraocular lens (IOL) power calculation formulas after phacovitrectomy.
방법 : METHODS: This retrospective study included one hundred one eyes (21 high myopic eyes and 80 non-high myopic eyes) of 101 patients who underwent phacovitrectomy (phacoemulsification, IOL implantation, and pars plana vitrectomy). The predicted post-operative refraction error was calculated with 4 commonly available IOL power formulas such as Hoffer Q, Holladay 1, Holladay 2, and SRK/T. With each formula, the mean error and the mean absolute error were calculated. The subjects were divided into 21 highly myopic eyes (AL>26.0mm); and 80 non-highly myopic eyes (AL≤26.0mm)
결과 : RESULTS: The mean error and the mean absolute error after phacovitrectomy did not show a significant difference among the 4 IOL power formulas (P=0.635, P=0.586). The formulas were also equally accurate when the patients were grouped into high myopic and non-high myopic eyes.
결론 : CONCLUSION: The 4 IOL calculation formulas provided equivalent performance in the subsets of axial lengths after phacovitrectomy.
