본문 : Angiostrongyliasis, the most common infectious cause of eosinophilic meningitis, results from infection by the parasitic nematode Angiostrongylus cantonensis. There are three clinical forms: eosinophilic meningitis, ocular inflammatory subtype, and eosinophilic encephalitis. There has been no report of orbital inflammation associated with angiostrongyliasis. We present a unique case of presumed angiostrongyliasis manifesting as orbital inflammation. Clinical presentation, treatment course, and followup are discussed. |
