| THINNER SUBFOVEAL CHOROIDAL THICKNESS IN THE EYES WITH OCULAR ISCHEMIC SYNDROME THAN UNAFFECTED CONTRALATERAL EYES |

| 본문 : Background: To investigate subfoveal choroidal thickness in the eyes affected by ocular ischemic syndrome (OIS) and compare with unaffected contralateral eyes.
Methods: The medical records of 3 patients with unilateral OIS were retrospectively analyzed. Subfoveal choroidal thickness measured by enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI OCT) were compared between the eyes affected by OIS and contralateral unaffected eyes.
Results: The eyes affected by OIS showed thinner subfoveal choroidal thickness than contralateral unaffected eyes in both horizontal (75㎛, 132㎛, and 176㎛ versus 178㎛, 198㎛, and 211㎛) and vertical (72㎛, 124㎛, and 170㎛ versus 178㎛, 161㎛, and 243㎛) EDI OCT images.
Conclusions: The eyes affected by OIS showed thinner subfoveal choroidal thickness than the unaffected contralateral eyes.
