본문 : A suprachoroidal hemorrhage is a rare but serious complication, occurring most commonly during intraocular surgery or after ocular injury. You are faced with unexpected suprachoroidal hemorrhage and failed to grasp the problems, it can lead to visual loss. So we are aware that the possibility of suprachoroidal hemorrhage does exist anytime, master ourselves to management of suprachoroidal hemorrhage. The key to preserving an eye with large hemorrhagic choroidal detachment is early recognition. Primary management is to take prompt actions to elevate the intraocular pressure such as immediate closure the wound site, intracameral gas or BSS injection. If a vitreous incarceration and retinal detachment is suspected, pars plana vitrectomy should be considered and long-acting gas or silicone oil can be used for internal tamponade. If massive hemorrhage and kissing detachment obscures vitreoretinal surgery, external drainage through posterior sclerotomy needs to be performed. The suprachoroidal blood clots can then be removed by squeezing with two cotton-tip applicators.
