목적 : To report a novel technique using biodegradable implant to treat scleromalacia after cosmetic whitening surgery and pterygium opration
방법 : A case report of three patients who underwent conjunctival flap surgery with Ologen biodegradable implant for scleromalacia. The patients had severe scleromalacia with calcification. The defect remained after removing of calcified lesion, with a slice of an ologen implant as a patch, covered by conjunctival flap. All three patien was followed over a period of 1 year after the surgery.
결과 : Succeessful, lasting closure of the conjunctival flap was achieved without any side effect. Using anterior OCT, the defect still remained, but the conjunctival flap was viable on the defect with vessels.
결론 : By placing the biodegradable implant under conjunctival flap, it can be successfully management for severe scleromalacia with calcification.
