목적 : To identify the retinal complications in patients after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT).
방법 : Patients with hematologic diagnosis after HSCT were enrolled this study from January 2009 to December 2012. Among them, we included the patients who have survived more than 2 years at least since they transplanted. The frequency and subgroup analysis of patients with retinal complications was done. From the medical records, we confirmed the prognosis of them. As a factor associated with retinal complications, the occurrence of ocular graft-versus-host disease(GVHD) was analyzed.
결과 : Total 635 patients were included. There were 207 patients with Cytomegalovirus(CMV) viremia, 16 patients were diagnosed as CMV retinitis among them. 22 patients were diagnosed as retinal hemorrhage. Above this, 18 patients had other retinal complications including uveitis, fungal retinitis, diabetic retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, optic neuropathy, RRD, CSC, CRVO, AMD, and endophthalmitis. Most of them had regular follow-up without treatments for retinal complications. In subgroup analysis, there was no significant difference in the incidence of ocular GVHD between groups.
결론 : The retinal complications is not usual event in patients who received HSCT. Most of them was good prognosis for retinal complications. The occurrence of retinal complications was not associated with ocular GVHD.
