목적 : To report a case of an dramatically resolved retinoschisis with vitreomacular traction after surgery
방법 : A 77 year-old female with decreased visual acuity on his right eye which has been for 1 year was diagnosed with retinoschisis combined with epiretinal membrane and vitreomacular traction. With 23 gauge pars plana vitrectomy, ILM peeling was done followed by C3F8 gas tamponade.
결과 : Initial VA was 20/150 and markedly increased macular edema(central fovea thickness 946um)with retinoschisis was observed in spectral domain OCT. On regular 2 month postoperative follow up, visual acuity has been improved to 20/40 and normal macular configuration was noted on spectral domain OCT.
결론 : Our case showed restoration of normal macular configuration and improved visual acuity after surgical intervention followed by gas tamponade. This case report can be an evidence supporting extension of surgical indication in severe retinoschisis accompanied with vitreomacular traction.
