목적 : To report a case of an improved ocular Behcet attack thanks to a prompt and timley intravitreal Bevacizumab injection.
방법 : A 25 year-old female who has been diagnosed Behcet 1 year ago, was refered for decreased visual acuity which abruptly took place on the very morning of the presenting day. Intravitreal avastin injection was done on 3rd day after symptom broke out as soon as ocular infection was ruled out thorough checking the serology.
결과 : Every exam result including visual acuity, foveal thickness and macular volume have shown gradual recovery. 3 months after the initial visit, the patient presents improved visual acuity to 20/40. (Initial visual acuity was finger count at 50cm, and cystoid macular edema and subretinal fluid was observed. Foveal thickness was 474um on spectral domain OCT.)
결론 : Our case demonstrate that a prompt and timely intervention with intravitreal bevacizumab injection can be useful as an initial treatment in Behcet patient with decreased visual acuity associated with severe macular edema.
