| Toxocariasis 감염 환자에서 혈청내 안지오텐신-전환 효수 수치의 상승 |

목적 : Serum angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) level is regarded as a disease marker, particularly sarcoidosis. The purpose of this study is to report that some uveitic patients with ocular toxocariasis showed high serum ACE level.
방법 : Six patients with ocular toxocariasis who were newly diagnosed (all patients were confirmed toxocariasis infection with serum laboratory and 3 patients were confirmed additionally with vitreous sampling) during last 3 months were investigated.
결과 : Three of those patients showed elevated serum ACE level. They had no known systemic disease or evidence of sarcoidosis including chest HRCT.
결론 : Serum ACE level could be elevated in patients with ocular toxocariasis and may be an important marker of toxocariasis.
