목적 : To compare the IOP lowering effect and safety of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT)
between primary open angle glaucoma and normal tension glaucoma.
방법 : 39 patients with primary open angle glaucoma and 23 patients with normal tension glaucoma were treated with 180 degree SLT. Intraocular pressure was checked at 1 day, 1, 2, 3, 6 months after SLT. Anterior chamber reaction and ocular pain was checked at postoperative 1 day. Peripheral anterior synechiae was examined at 6 months postoperatively.
결과 : At postoperative 6 months follow up, primary open angle glaucoma group had mean IOP 15.05±2.61 mmHg with mean reduction of 28.5%, while the normal tension glaucoma group had mean IOP of 14.50±3.01 mmHg with mean reduction of 16.8%. There were no significant differences in complications between two groups.
결론 : SLT is more effective procedure for the treatment of primary open angle glaucoma than normal tension glaucoma. There were no significant differences in complications between two groups.
