목적 : To report a single case of herpes simplex keratitis after applying 0.015% tafluprost eye drops.
방법 : The patient was diagnosed with glaucoma 6 weeks ago and started 0.015% tafluprost in left eye and 0.15% brimonidine in both eyes. On slit lamp examination dendritic epithelial defect was observed and diagnosed with herpes simplex keratitis. Careful out patient follow-up was performed
결과 : Tafluprost treatment was discontinued and 0.15% brimonidine was applied in both eyes twice a day, and the herpetic keratitis in his left eye recovered completely in 2 weeks with acyclovir ointment and oral antiviral agent. No further recurrence was observed in the following two months.
결론 : When using Prostaglandin agent in open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension patient, careful history taking & physical examination required.
