| 목적 : To evaluate the biomarkers in patients with ocular GVHD and to compare them with the biomarkers in healthy people.방법 : Eighty-five subjects were enrolled. There were forty-seven patients with ocular GVHD, and thirty-eight healthy people without ocular disease or ocular symptoms of dry eye disease. Every subjects was examed several biomarkers including tear osmolarity, ocular surface disease index(OSDI) score, Schirmer test, tear break-up time(BUT), corneal staining, conjunctival staining. We analyzed with the biomarkers of ocular GVHD patients comparing with healthy people, and according to the severity of ocular GVHD.결과 : Ocular GVHD patients had significantly higher OSDI score(p=0.03), corneal staining(p<0.01), conjunctival statining(p<0.01), and lower Schirmer score(p<0.01), tear break-up time(p<0.01) than healthy people. There were no significant differences in ocular osmolarity between two groups. In subgroup analysis according to the severity of ocular GVHD, the severe subjects had ocular GVHD, the larger they showed score of ocular biomarkers; OSDI(p<0.01) and cornea staining(p=0.049). The Area under the curve of schirmer test and BUT was most larger than other biomarkers in ROC curve analysis.결론 : OSDI score, Schirmer test, BUT, corneal staining, and conjunctival staining can be used as diagnostic biomarkers in ocular GVHD. Especially, Schirmer test and BUT have high sensitivity and specificity in diagnosis of ocular GVHD among them. |
