| 목적 : To evaluate efficacy, safety and vaults of vertical positioned ICL(implantable collamer lens).방법 : 28 eyes of 14 patients who received bilateral ICL implantation were studied retrospectively. Patients had ICL implantation horizontally in the right eye and showed high vaults postoperatively. In the fellow left eye, ICL was positioned vertically. Vaulting after ICL implantation were measured using anterior segment optical coherence tomography(AS-OCT) (CASIA, Tomey, Japan). All patients were examined for visual acuity, refraction, intraocular pressure, slit lamp measurements one week, one month and two months postoperatively.결과 : There were significant differences of vault between the two groups for the follow up periods. The mean spherical equivalents of the two groups were corrected from -8.90D (Right eye) and -9.34D (Left eye) to 0.33D and 0.11D, respectively, at two months postoperatively. The uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) of the two groups were 1.2 and 1.11, respectively, at two months postoperatively. There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of postoperative spherical equivalents, UCVA, intraocular pressure(IOP), and noticeable complications.결론 : Both horizontal and vertical positioned ICL surgery are effective and safety for the treatment of myopia. And vertical positioned ICL can significantly reduce ICL vault. Selection of proper surgical method is recommended for stable vault. |
